All of us were shaped and molded in someway by the home in which were raised. What went on in the home is what shaped us for functioning in society. But we now have a new life in Christ, and just because we are saved does not mean we automatically live in righteousness but we must choose to do so. Beloved where do you live today, do you dwell in a place of righteousness or are you living in a place of unrighteousness? Is carnality shaping your mind as a believer thereby producing carnal living? Or are you allowing the righteousness of God to mold you into a beautiful work of art to be on display for his glory. We must understand that wherever you and I are living spiritually, will either help or hinder the kingdom work of God. It will have lasting effects upon our lives, and those who have not yet come to the Lord. As we have this new life in Christ Jesus, we must do all that we can to walk therein. When Moses went on the mountaintop to be with God the Bible says that when he came down his face shined bright like lightning. This says that Moses had an awesome mountaintop experience, but eventually he had to come down into the valley. When he came down he found the people in chaos and disorder which he himself had to deal with. The mountaintop is filled with gladness and rejoicing, but we cannot stay there we must go down into the valley, and it is filled with trouble trials and struggles and temptation. Oh but thanks be to God that the presence of the Lord is not only on the mountaintop but he is also with us down in the valley. Therefore when you deal with valley like situations, Remember that you are not alone because the Lord is with you. Remember that he is the good shepherd who leads his sheep through the valley into a place of promise, peace and prosperity. Psalm 23, John 14:27 ~ Pastor Bostick
