Feeding Ministry
Showing God's love in attitude and by providing quality, nutritious meals to those experiencing homelessness, lack of access to food, or those who are otherwise in need of support.
Operation Christmas Child (O.C.C.)
Intentional giving that shifts the focus off ourselves and onto others who are in need. Our mission is to help remind the world what Christmas is really all about — Jesus.
Youth Ministry
We strive to have a youth ministry that is centered on Christ and filled with fun. We seek to create intentional relationships of youth to mentoring adults, youth to one another, and ultimately, youth to the person of Jesus Christ.
Marriage Enrichment
Strengthening marriages by providing resources, encouragement, support, and biblical principles which will help couples establish and maintain a healthy marriage in our church and community.

Mission & Vision Statements
Second Baptist Church shall be a church that demonstrates the love of God, first to one another and then to the world. Our divine purpose is to evangelize the sinner, bring the believer to a place of Spiritual maturity, and minister to the needs of our community. We shall be a church that engages in meaningful Spirit filled led praise and worship.
The vision of the Second Baptist Church is to be a place where we reach people where they are, through discipleship, evangelism, and outreach. We shall be a church that exalts the savior through praise and worship and living a Holy Spirit filled life. By allowing the love of God to grow in us and then flow through us we will be successful in meeting the needs of those of our congregation, our community, and the uttermost parts of the world.

Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any error. II Timothy 3:16 , II Peter 1:20-21.
We believe God is the creator of the heavens and the earth.
GOD, The Self-Existent One, has existed eternally in three personalities: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He rules over and cares for everyone. Matthew 23:9, John 1:3
