Pastor Charles Bostick was born in Madera, California to George and Diann Bostick. He is the eldest of 3 children.
At the age of eighteen he accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Morris L. Davis.
It was under Pastor Davis that Pastor Bostick answered the call to preach the Gospel. He preached his first sermon at the age of nineteen and served as the Youth Minister, a Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent for 13 years.
After 13 years of faithful service at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Madera the Lord transitioned Pastor Bostick to Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Merced, California under the leadership of Dr. Craig White Sr. There Pastor Bostick served as an Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Minister and Brotherhood President for 5 years.
After several years in the ministry, Pastor Bostick took the opportunity to go to the Bible Based School of Theology, to increase his development in the ministry. Upon graduating he earned a Doctorate degree in Theology.
The Lord God began to place upon Pastor Bostick’s heart to organize a church in the city of Madera, California. Through much prayer and obedience to the vision of God the Zion Hill Family Church was born.
Rev. Bostick Pastored the Zion Hill Family church for sixteen years, after which the Lord lead him to merge Zion with the Second M.B.C. where he now serves as pastor. He also serves as a professor of the Agape Bible School in Merced, California and the President of the Baptist Pastor’s Conference of Central California.
Pastor Bostick is a family man. He is married to Cynthia Suezette Bostick and they have 7 children, Ronisha, Jasmine, Breanna, Darron, Chaprill, Sameyra and Jireh.
Pastor Bostick has a genuine servant’s heart and he is truly committed to the development of God’s people and the evangelism of the lost.
